Four girls. Two kinds of homes.
Pinks and Blue are high-drive. They need a job and an experienced handler.
Shasta and Lila are loyal and easygoing. They need a steady family that will keep training them.
We match every puppy to a home based on who she is, not who calls first. Tell us about your home and what you want from a German Shepherd. We’ll tell you honestly which girl fits, or whether none of them do.
Structure is love with a backbone. We would rather hold a puppy than place her wrong.

Shasta went home with Max.

Look at the second photo. Shasta isn't watching the trees or the gravel. She's watching Max. That's the engagement we look for when we match a puppy to a handler.

Shasta is people-connected and physically tough. She does her best work for someone who leads with clear, fair structure, and Max is ready for that job.

Last photo: Shasta on the ride home. Ears up.

Thank you, Max. Send us updates.

How to bring home a Ringer Shepherd.
1. Fill out the application. It takes about 15 minutes.
2. We read every one and respond within 72 hours.
3. If it looks like a fit, we set up a phone call.
4. We match you to a specific puppy based on her temperament and your home.
5. She comes home with her pedigree, all shots, and health records.
We match by fit, not by who applies first. Some applicants hear that none of these four are right for them, and we’d rather say that up front.

We don’t see breeding as a business first. We see it as stewardship. These dogs were entrusted to us, and so is the job of finding them the right homes.
That’s why we screen every applicant and match every puppy by temperament. It’s also why we’ll hold a puppy rather than place her wrong. Time is cheap. A bad placement is not.

What comes home with a Ringer Shepherd.
Every girl in this litter has had her vet visit, vaccinations, microchip, and deworming. Both parents are health tested. Every puppy went through a Volhard aptitude test at seven weeks, and we’ve kept training them every day since.
She goes home with her full pedigree, her health records, and a family that picks up the phone after she leaves. Lifetime support means exactly that.
We don’t take a deposit until you’ve been approved and matched to a specific puppy.

Easygoing doesn’t mean low-maintenance.
Shasta and Lila are still German Shepherds. They need daily exercise, ongoing training, and your time. What they don’t need is a full-time job to stay settled.
These two are happiest in the middle of family life. Walks, training in the yard, riding along on errands, lying at your feet in the evening. They want to be with you more than they want to be busy.
If that sounds like your home, one of them may be your dog.

We’ve said Pinks and Blue need a job. Here’s what we mean.
A job doesn’t have to be police work. It means structured work every day. Obedience, a dog sport like IGP or nose work, tracking, or real work on a farm or property all count. So does a handler who trains with a purpose and sticks with it.
A high-drive dog without an outlet finds her own, and you won’t like what she picks. A high-drive dog with an outlet is one of the best partners you will ever have.
If you’ve handled a working dog before and you want another, we want to hear from you.

Meet Roo, the girls’ mother.
Her registered name is Ruzena Ringer Von Dietrich. She is the third generation of females raised in our home. Her mother was raised here, and so was her grandmother. The four girls you’ve been meeting are the fourth.
Roo is the reason we can say “family-raised” and mean it. She lives with us, and she raised this litter in our house.

Meet AK, the girls’ sire.
His registered name is Ak Vaimet Sampson Von Dietrich. He comes from the Von Dietrich Kennel and carries a proven working line. He’s the one in the red collar.
Look at the structure in that first photo and then look back at Pinks and Blue. The drive in those two didn’t come from nowhere.
We choose sires for nerve and for willingness to work with a handler. AK has both.

Meet Lila.
Lila is the one who checks in. She watches her handler and stays close. She bonds hard. We’d call her loyal first and easygoing second.
She does her best in a calm home where the routine is predictable and new experiences come at a measured pace. Give her that, and you’ll have a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be with you.
Best fit: a thoughtful, consistent household that values a close bond with its dog.
Not the right fit: a loud, chaotic home, or a handler who pushes too hard, too fast.
