Pets can sometimes get really stressed at the vet. Our handsome patient, Dexter, was no exception. We were more than happy to give him extra patience during his mobile visit and a plan moving forward to help reduce stress at future veterinary visits. We are happy to welcome Fumiyo as a relief Registered Veterinary Technician to our mobile practice.
Fumiyo has been in the veterinary field since 2009 and studied Veterinary Technology at Foothill College in the Bay Area. She comes to us with experience in emergency medicine, general practice, and over 14 years in shelter medicine. She is passionate about advocating for animals and continuing to grow in her field. Fumiyo is excited to bring her knowledge to the local community through mobile care.
She shares her home with her husband, three kids, and two huskies, Sandy and Tully. Outside of work, she’s a busy mom, a volunteer at her children’s schools, an accomplished violinist and skilled at musical improv!

Some of the most dangerous things for pets are sitting right in your kitchen.
Grapes, onions, xylitol, raw dough and caffeine.. these are all everyday items that can quickly turn into emergencies.
Even small amounts can cause serious illness depending on the pet and toxin.
If your pet gets into something they shouldn’t, don’t wait, contact pet poison control right away. Pet poison control will help determine if your pet had ingested a harmful amount and will work closely with your vet to ensure your pet gets the best possible care.
