We didn't post yesterday to catch you today with a Summer Fix update! We've got 2 days left to raise funds to support the spay/neuter vouchers to help Topeka and surrounding area cat servants get their cats spayed and/or neutered. We offer these on a first-come, first-serve basis for no charge to be used at participating veterinary clinics. And next year's vouchers will be valued at $100. Hill’s Pet Nutrition is matching the first $5,000 we raised. We've surpassed that and are trying to get as close as possible to another $5,000 raised - we're at $7,700. To donate you can click the link at the top of our page, donate through our website, stop in the shop or mail a donation. To help, share and interact with our post - every bit helps and this helps others see it that may not follow our page!

Pictured is one of the momma cats that had her kittens at the shelter (you can see the babies past mom's legs). Mom and babies have all been adopted since then. We love babies as much as the next person but we'd like to help prevent this as much as possible as we know the burden too many babies can place on households and shelters. Her babies were pretty cute though!

We meant to post yesterday but time slipped by too fast! We've raised a little over $7,500 with your help for our Summer Fix Campaign and $5,000 will be matched by Hill’s Pet Nutrition! Our fundraising crew talked and let us know no matter what, even if we don't reach $10,000 (without the match), we will offer vouchers next year valued at $100 each to help cover the cost of cat spay/neuters in the Topeka community to be used at participating veterinary clinics. We're so excited to be able to offer them at the higher value amount. The more we raise and get closer to the $10,000, the more we'll be able to offer.

Thank you for everyone's help! We close the campaign on August 15 so we have a few more fundraising days left. Continue to share and enjoy our cute cat pictures that we share along with the progress.

We're down to our last 7 days of the Summer Fix Campaign! We've surpassed the original $5,000 we were trying to raise to get matched by Hill’s Pet Nutrition and appreciate all that have helped us reach that goal. We're now a little over $7,000 raised between our online campaign, in person donations and mailed in donations!! If we can reach $10,000 raised, and then add the match of $5,000, we will be able to offer cat spay/neuter vouchers valued at $100 next year. We're watching close and hope we can make it!
