Look at how precious these babies are. At 11 weeks, they're ready for your home! Foster or adoption, it's your call! But these guys are absolutely sweet as can be!! Before you ask... not sure. But a couple of them look like Bernese Mt. Dogs and the others look like lab and hound mixes. They are going to be HUGE! Probably 60-70lbs. However, momma dog only weighs about 35-40lbs. So the 2 females may be closer to 55-60lbs.
You gotta come see these babies. We'll be back out at Petco - Huntsville-Uni versity Dr on Saturday, Aug. 8th from 3pm-6:30pm

Happy Tail Ending report: Zeus, fka Rodney when he was here, has been living his best life ever since Ashley and her family adopted him! He was super scrawny when he came to us. Sorry, I'm not able to find his intake picture. (If i do, I'll put it in the comments section.)

After a couple years with Zeus, they came back and adopted Delilah now known as Lila! (She's the black dog.) She is also living her best life. She gets to go swimming in the creek with her momma and kiddos!

This is the latest post from the adopter:

"Words cannot describe how much I love this dog. He has come so far since we got him, and we love him so much! Happy gotcha day Zeus! I cant be lieve its been 4 years! Looking forward to many more 🥰😍"

One more saved! Thanks to rescues and shelters working together. We shipped Hazel north yesterday and she was adopted today! They've already gone for a 3 mile walk / run this morning and she's getting along with her new brother wonderfully!! Huge thanks to JKRC Rescue - Just Keep Rescuing Canines and Cats for helping us find Hazel a home. She was with us for 16 months and had no applications. Now, she's got a home that we all feel like will be perfect for her and her energy levels!

Ok y'all... we need some help. Not asking for a donation. We've already received the donation. The donation is specifically for building another kennel or 2 for a dog that will be sent down here to us from NJ for both sanctuary & rehab. So she'll be with us for a while.

What we need help with is finding decently priced used or new building or shed. Something not huge but large enough to build a couple indoor / outdoor kennels.
So 8x12, 10x12, 8x16, 10x16 or similar. Like I said, not huge. But we are having difficulty finding one in our price range. Do you know of anyone that is willing to donate or sell a shed of this size? We cannot afford to purchase a brand new one. And we need it sooner than later. Mauve is waiting to come down because we have nowhere for her to go at the moment. Can anyone help? Or knows someone willing to help us with this? She is terrified and needs to come down ASAP for decompression and rest. Our friends at JKRC Rescue - Just Keep Rescuing Canines and Cats are keeping her for us until we can build this kennel. But she's not doing well and they've reported that she might be regressing. 🥺

On Mother's Day, Miranda began her 2 week foster-to-adopt period with a local family. Unfortunately, they didn't clear it with the landlord / in-laws first. 😩 They're allowed to have a dog. Just not 100 # Mastiff.

But, they reported that Miranda "was the perfect dog while she was with us!" No accidents, no jumping, no growling, and loads of cuddles!!

This girl has been with us for more than 3 years! Just waiting for her own humans. She truly is a "gentle giant". Miranda doesn't mind other dogs around but can be selective of her playmates. We DID find out that cats are an issue. Said, "she wants to play or something with them. That was the only time she barked!" We know that she is great with kids. and has even been walked successfully by a 6 yr old little boy. No pulling at all.

I'm just so sad for her right now. And kinda pi**ed about other rescues that won't take their dogs back!! It is clearly stated in our contract that they WILL bring the dog / cat back to us AT ANY TIME after they adopt so that we know the outcomes of our pets.
