Ever thought as snails for a pet? If not, START THINKING! Ive only had these guys for a few months, and watching them grow has been an amazing and rewarding experience! Not only have they grown like weeds, they are fast eaters. Ive seen them put nice chunks out of their food in only 24 hours. Now I don't have any right now. But these guys are definitely a nice project that I see going super well!! Now I gotta confess something kind sad. These guys are a breeding project for pets. But also, in about 6 generations (which is gonna be a 2 - 3 year project 😖) they will be classified as safe and will be available as reptile feeders as well. It's a sad cycle, but must be done! That being said, they make amazing pets too! When these guys are available I will make another post to let y'all know❤🐌 this particular species are Cornu aspersum.

Meet Ernest and Ethel! These guys are Red-Eyed Tree Frogs! I got them not too long ago from aquatic critter in Nashville, and so far, they've been thriving! :) let's all cross our fingers as I build my palidariun for their permanent home and hope they continue to thrive ❤ 🐸

A lovely picture of my ball python vandy! He's very happy with his 5x2x2 reptile habitat from Dubia.com ! He's been in it for about two weeks now, and he adores it!

🤔

In all seriousness! Please don't put an adult ball python in something less than a 4x2x2. Guys, be nice to your pets, give them the space they deserve. AS WELL as the appropriate diet. Thank you and goodnight 👋

Unfortunately now I can say I've been bit by a jumping spider! Completely my fault of course, I wasn't being patient with her and faced the consequences. And MAN does she pack a punch 😂 that being said, I still love her, and she still got her upgrade!

The Titan isopods! Also know scientifically as the Porcellio hoffmannseggi. It's no wonder these guys are called Titans! They are definitely one of the biggest isopods I've owned. Titans can get about 4cm in length when fully grown! These guys love a low humidity environment with tons of ventilation. The Titans are found primarily in southern Spain and surrounding areas. Here's picture of an adult Titan isopod, next to a baby!

If you find mushrooms in your isopod bins, leave them! This is a sign of healthy substrate, not long after they sprout they shrivel up and become isopod food. Everytime I find a mushroom in my bins I get so happy. Mushrooms have been know to grow in people's bioactive enclosures as well! Ain't that neat? 🍄
