DogworksOhio Dogworks is an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization based in Toledo, OH. Our purpose is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome dogs.

All dogs are located in foster homes throughout the hour radius we serve. Dogworks is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group based in Toledo, OH, whose purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, neglected, and unwanted dogs. Most dogs are rescued from euthanizing shelters, although some come to us from relinquishing owners or other means. All dogs are fostered in volunteer homes until a

doption. We do not have a shelter or kennel facility. We strive to rescue as many dogs as we can, but the need for new fosters and volunteers is crucial to our continuing efforts!

Big updates for our St. Patrick’s Day puppies! ☘️🐾

We’ve been working hard to move Dublin, Fiona, and Murphy out of their neonatal foster home so she can open her heart and home to new incoming bottle babies.

We are so excited to share that Dublin has officially been adopted — picture coming soon! 🎉💚

And even more good news… Fiona and Murphy have safely moved into a foster home with our incredible foster, Diana Thompson Wenzel! We are beyond grateful for her willingness to step up and take on not one, but TWO beautiful puppies. Their next chapter is already off to a wonderful start thanks to her kindness and dedication.

Now all they need are forever homes! Fiona and Murphy are officially up for adoption and ready to find families of their very own. These sweet pups are full of love, personality, and puppy charm. 🐶💕

It truly takes a village, and we are so thankful for everyone who continues to support these pups on their journey.

Meet Tito!
We were alerted to this sweet boy when his owners reached out to us asking for help. Unfortunately they have fallen on hard times and could use a little assistance regarding their loving good boy. Tito currently has a raging bleeding ear infection which is causing him massive pain and discomfort.😢

We are scheduling him an appointment at VCA Sylvania as soon as we can to have him checked out and treated. In addition to whatever may be going on with the ears, Tito is way behind on all vaccines and we need to get him updated. A neuter is also needed, but first things first!!

We are not entertaining removing Tito from his home. His owners love him very much and we know he is in a good place. They just need a little help to get Tito back on track!!

We just wanted to update everyone that Peggy is now safe with a foster! 💛

Thank you all so much for the outpouring of love, support, and shares for this sweet girl. Because of this amazing community, Peggy was seen, her story was heard, and she now has a safe place to land.

It truly does take a village, and we are beyond grateful to every single person who helped advocate for her. Thank you for being part of her rescue story. 🐾

🚨 URGENT: Peggy has a euthanasia appointment TODAY 🚨

This is the heartbreaking post we never wanted to make.

Peggy’s owners love her deeply, but due to serious age and health struggles, they feel they can no longer care for her. They are devastated and out of options, and Peggy now has a euthanasia appointment scheduled for today if a foster or foster-to-adopt home cannot be found immediately.

Peggy is only 3 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. She does not deserve for her story to end this way.

✨ Up-to-date on vaccinations
✨ Dog-friendly
✨ A total couch potato who just wants to relax beside her people 🛋️

She has been loved her entire life and is understandably confused as her world is changing around her. Right now, what she needs most is a soft place to land, a safe home, and someone willing to give her a chance.

PLEASE — if you have ever considered fostering, this sweet girl needs you now more than ever.

Dogworks will provide all food, treats, supplies, and vetting necessary for foster homes.
