Another Spring Fling Horse Show is in the books. Congratulations to all of our incredible riders! You continue to amaze and inspire this Riverwood team on a daily basis and we are all so very proud of each and every one of you.
The Spring Fling Horse Show could not happen without the unbelievable generosity of our volunteers and sponsors. The volunteers are too numerous to mention, but they all know how much we appreciate and adore them. Supersonic Spots continues to hold the lead, but defending champion, Jet-Like Jake has gained a ton just today and shows no sign of slowing. Chop-Chop Chance holds in third, but Top-Notch Truffles has bolted into fourth with Double-Quick Dante falling to fifth. Hurricane Hershel holds sixth ahead of Mighty Mistletoe, Winged Winston, and Hasty Hazel respectively.

Who will prevail??

Dear Friends:

Spring has arrived, and with it, new beginnings are blooming—especially at Riverwood! We’re writing with an exciting update about our upcoming move and to invite you to be part of the journey.

We are in the process of purchasing Irish Oaks, a beautiful property in Pfafftown near the intersection of Robinhood and Yadkinville Roads. The farm currently operates as an equine facility, with both a covered and outdoor arena, along with ample pastures for our herd and lovely riding trails. It will need some retrofitting to make it fully suitable for our therapeutic programs.

As anyone who’s ever moved a home—let alone a working farm and business—knows, there are many moving parts. Our transition will begin this summer, but we don’t yet have a firm date for relocating our programs. We are in the process of adding some more summer programing, and will announce the July and August schedules in the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, we’d love to hear from you. Your voice matters as we envision this next chapter. We're hosting a series of Listening Sessions to hear your hopes and dreams for our new home, as well as to answer any questions you might have. Please register here to attend:

Hurricane Hershel leads the rest of the field with Double-Quick Dante, Winged Winston, Mighty Mistletoe, Top-Notch Truffles, and Hasty Hazel following, in that order.
