⚕️MEDICAL UPDATE: Rhody has made an impressive recovery after her ER visit and hospital stay earlier this month. 🧡

In our Spring Newsletter, we described the lash egg and severe vent prolapse that sent Rhody to Boston and had medical staff suggesting euthanasia. Thanks to a lot of resilience and around-the-clock care, Rhody is doing well.

As she continues her rehabilitate, Rhody is separated from the other chickens but she loves human visitors. Come celebrate her recovery and support our life-saving care this weekend.

Tours begin at 9:30 each day and step off every half hour.

Thank you to the second grade class at St. Philomena School in Portsmouth! These generous young animal lovers collected supplies for our farm animal rescues in March. Yesterday, we celebrated with a tour of the sanctuary and plenty of animal interactions. 🐷🐴🐓🦃

We hope to meet more young animal advocates during Spring Visitors Weekend. And remember, private tours are available for your school, classroom, or workplace.
