☎️ If you believe your pet is poisoned call your vet immediately or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (1-888-426-4435) or Pet Poison Helpline (1-855-764-7661)

This week let’s focus on the Bathroom :

⛔️Medication used to treat human conditions are among the top causes of reported pet poisoning in the US. Never give your pet any medication unless directed by your veterinarian!

Acetaminophen, Anti-anxiety medication, Antidepressants, Antihistamines, Blood Pressure Medicine, ADHD Medication, Non-steroidal inflammatory drugs(aspirin, ibuprofen, naxopren), Cholesterol medication, Cold Medicine, Iron Supplements, Skin products containing fluorouracil, Sleep aids, Thyroid hormones, Vitamins, Weight Loss supplements
Soaps, toothpaste, sunscreens, toilet bowl cleaning agents(keep toilet lid closed!)

🐈‍⬛Hello, I'm Wednesday. I spend my days here at the shelter, mostly keeping to myself, enjoying the peace. I'm young and independent, but don't mistake my mellow demeanor for aloofness. 🐾I'm just taking life as it comes, one day at a time. I do miss my friend Enid, though. We used to chat a lot. 💛At nearly 9 years old, this gentle senior boy doesn’t need fancy toys or long hikes — just a soft bed, a loving hand, and someone to be his BFF.
