Well, thanks to Michaela’s match making abilities lol. We have put 4 nest boxes in. So far we have one very nesting Hotot. The E lop and Thriantas are more interested in eating the hay right now lol

We’ve been rather quiet lately on here. There has been a lot of things going on in our lives lately that have had to take our attention.
We attended the Maqouketa Show and brought home this black Tort doe “Cholula”. She’s currently in quarantine for the next 2 weeks before she joins the rest of the herd.
We were hoping to have a few litters of English lops, Dwarf hotot, and Thriantas. But, while our bucks are willing, our does are less than impressed. Also paired with some first timers, we are not having much luck.
We will keep trying and see what happens.
There are going to be some upgrades to the Bunny Bungalow this weekend. New fresh air intake, and exhaust fan are going in. I’m going to attempt to start putting the plastic panelling up. It will be a slow process as we are moving along as finances allow. But hopefully in the end, I’ll be able to power wash walls and cages in there. There is already a drain that was installed previously. It’s also going to be a major cleaning weekend on the whole farm. I wish the warm weather would stick around.
