Good Vet visit today. Thanks to Dr. Wilson and Amanda for taking care of all the doggies. Paddy is getting her nails done and Bootsie was trying to eat the nails. Little Bootsie was into everything. Everyone was staying clear or hiding. Rufus didn’t shut up and pooped on a boot! Lol Sorry Amanda!

UPDATE ON SUGAR. Yay for Sugar.

Good morning, Cynthia. This is Dr. Lane Dixon wanting to address Sugar today. Sugar's doing exceptionally well with a body temperature of 101.6, heart rate 158, respiratory rate is panting, mucous membranes are pink with a CRT of less than 2. We're eating and drinking very, very well. We're very energetic, very happy. We're just going to adjust our seizure meds. I do not feel like it's time to let Sugar go at this time, but I do want to, you know, see what you would like to do moving forward. It is something that we do want to take very seriously, but overall, we do think that Sugar should do well, at least for a little bit longer.

Sugar had to go to Doctor Dixon last night. She has been having lots more seizures. She has been on medication for a while. She had I earlier in the day and then z2 more in a row 1/2 hour apart. Doc was going to check her out and see what we can do next. Dr. Wilson is coming today to give shots for all the dogs and will bring her home then. At that time we will know what is happening. Sugar is 14 years old and came with Kit Kat who is also 14. They have both been here a few years. I would have to look back and see when they arrived. Time goes by so fast these days. Pray for us no more happens! Too much! 🌻💔 she was recovering from her seizure! Seemed like forever!

This is Conrad he is 16 months old and is a full blooded Golden Doodle . He Loves to play he is neutered and house trained . He sleeps all night and can be left alone for up to 6 hrs without accidents. He's fully vaccinated and needs a loving home Please. Food, Bed, Leash and collar will be provided .

He’s never been around cats but he gets along with all the dogs he’s encountered. He gets scared easily. He’s so young so he always approaches people and animals slowly.

FYI I forgot to tell you that he also understands the commands sit and wait and he eats only when you say ok so he’s a pretty smart fella.

UPDATE ON LITTLE BLACKIE!
Very sad to say he didn’t make it. No words!! Just tears! I did make it this morning when they called me to spend a little time with him. No more pain!

Little Blackie
The patient was doing OK today.
The patient was still not eating as aggressively as desired.
The patient was holding one leg up.
Problems with the feet were expected.
Significant pedal osteitis was present.
The retrotract infection still needed to be brought under control.
Other animals at home were to be monitored for infection.
Immune suppression or immune compromise was considered more likely.
The patient was described as very weak.
