*The Basics: Understand how to be safe around horses, their behaviors, and their needs.
*Take Care of a Horse: Learn how to groom, lead, feed, and interact safely.
*Prepare for a Ride: Learn about saddling, tack, and grooming.
*Practice and Ride: Engage in a supervised riding session, learning to start, stop, trot and turn.

An ultrasound diagnosis of a strained check ligament from the end of November then 6 weeks of rehab rides,Beau is finally back out with his buddies! During one of his last rehab rides yesterday, Beau made it very clear that he was ready for bigger things 😆 While he wasn't being bad(quite the opposite)feeling good enough to be silly & his leg was ice cold and tight so out he went!! We were able to rehab him in a small lot so as it healed, we could increase the size of his area to keep his joints moving and not totally loose muscle & not re-injure. He is not a good candidate for "stall " rest with being prone to ulcers & no tranzquilzing was necessary 😁. Glad to see him enjoying the company of his herdmates and some green grass😍 Back to work Beau boy!

Are you looking for a fun summer spent making amazing memories with young riders?

We are looking for a fun-loving, energetic mentor who enjoys engaging with young riders age 4-15. Daily activities include helping riders learn about safety around animals, horse care, riding, and engage in fun activities such as crafts and games

Summer Horse Camp Counselor
- A part time position that is paid hourly
-Must have a clean criminal background and pass a background screening.
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Reliable
- We can provide training
