🐾 Guess what? “Furmont Days” is back! For those of you who remember this event, it debuted in 2006. It’s time for our dog friends to return to strut their stuff. Walk your pooches on Main Street to Furmont Days this Saturday, June 6!
🐕 Contests include:
🪑 Doggie musical chairs
🐶 Best howler / yodeler
😍 Doggy walkaround and Best costume picked. (small & large dog prize)
😆 Stupidest dog trick
😊 Best dog trick
🥰 Owner/dog look-alike contest
😄 Doggie Limbo
😚 Cutest face
🐕 Best Tail Wag
🎞️ Bring your best pet photo to be displayed and there will be a first place prize best dog photo.
😎 Our master of ceremonies is Dr. Jon Bramson from Catoctin Veterinary Clinic and assisting him is the lovely Trish Hahn, and The Dirty Dawg Proprietor, Becky Clarke!
⏰ This Saturday, June 6, 9-10:30a in the back yard of the Thurmont Historical Society!
Registration begins at 8:30a. Must have proof of rabies at registration.
Owner will sign a waiver assuming all responsibility for their dog.
Dawgs must be leashed except in the ring when performing some contests.
💩 Please bring your doggie p**p bags.
🥇 Prizes are awarded to the first-place dog of each category and a certificate.
📣 Shoutout to Dr. Keane from Catoctin Vet Clinic for coining the name “Furmont Days” for this first time Main Street event in 2006.
