This weeks parade of pups were not only adorable but fun, funny and on their best behavior!

I’ve been taking care of the dogs in this community for over a decade and have enjoyed every minute.
We enjoy all the pups that visit us and the people who entrust us with them.

I especially appreciate the regular clients, the pet parents that care for them and the community support and love.
When I speak of regular grooming being important I don’t just mean the importance of a clean, healthy coat, skin, ears and nails!
Or of the increased amount of love and affection you give and receive when your dog is clean, soft and not shedding!

I’m talking about the trust. The comfort and ease that comes from building a relationship with the dogs in our care.
Not only does it make our job more sustainable, enjoyable and rewarding
BUT it allows your pup a place and people, out of your home that they enjoy, are excited to come to and trust to handle them and care for them. To me..That’s a big deal.
Not just for the happiness of the dog but for the benefit of their care, safety, health and future handling.
Socializing and experiencing the world outside of home is so important for so many reasons.

So when your dog starts to excitedly whine on my street, runs in our door and heads straight back to get to business or even patiently waits for a treat or a loving pet and goodbye from their people just know…

Even as fall has fallen to frost..we are still having so much fun fluffing, fancying and foolin around with the fantastic pups of our community. 🧡🐾🍁🍂❄️

🐾Nobody wants a naked Doodle (noodle) in the middle of December!!! They need regular maintenance to keep a fluffy, warm coat!!!!

🐾Thick, built up undercoat prevents the skin from getting air, causing greasy, flaky skin, itching and painful hot spots!🫧

🐾Even slightly overgrown toe nails tend to crack and split as the cold, dry weather sets in. 💔

🐾And hoping we get some..snow can cause all sorts of uncomfortable and inconvenient issues!!❄️

*On a personal note..

✨We are well aware of the strain the economy has on us all right now.
I do my very best to keep prices affordable, support my family and run my shop with the highest quality work, products and care possible.
We want to see these pups regularly after all.
Balancing a small business in a small, close community may often be challenging but it is also wonderful and comes with great perks and..people who understand, care and work with us to keep up regular care for their dogs.
The more regular care they receive the less costly it is. That’s the facts 😉
We are encouraging folks to please plan ahead..

We also have super fun, temporary and non toxic fur coloring for those seeking a bit of dressing up. 🎃 🦇
The seasonal shed is right around the corner along with the sticks, leaves, burrs and mud…and we’re ready for that too!

Ahhh the dog days of summer! ❤️🐾
We wouldn’t have it any other way around here!
We’ve been busy taking care of the sweet dogs in our community all season and it has been a blast.
Then all of a sudden it’s BACK TO SCHOOL time?!?📚✏️
Well no matter the goings on the weather is likely to have its up and downs for a while longer. We’re ready! Are you??
