Friendly tips for sending photos of wounds to your vet:
⚪️Send at least two photos: one close-up of the wound and one farther away to show the location and size of the wound.
⚪️If the horse will tolerate it, clip the hair around the wound first, then flush with clean water or saline before taking photos.
⚪️Do your best to avoid blurry images (we understand not all equines are cooperative, bribery may be required 🍎).
⚪️Make sure there is good lighting; if it looks dark to you, it will likely be difficult for us to assess the wound's severity.
