The team at 2 Hands Saving 4 Paws Humane Society Inc and McDuffie County Animal Services would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the hundreds of pet owners who attended our FREE Vaccine Clinic, made possible by Petco Love.
Over 750 vaccines were administered to both community dogs 🐶 and cats 🐱
We commend each and every one of you who participated and demonstrated your dedication to protecting your pets against preventable diseases.

We remain committed to supporting you and your family pets.
A glimpse of yesterday's Vaccine Clinic is provided below.
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Ogeechee Veterinary Associates, P.C. for administering complimentary Rabies vaccines courtesy of our organization.
Special recognition is also due to Office Manager Kimberly Keith Holsomback, who painstakingly wrote out each Rabies Certificate by hand.
While considerable preparation and effort went into organizing this event, and despite the overwhelming turnout, we are confident that we did our best.

I'd like to extend heartfelt gratitude to our rescue partners for facilitating the discovery of forever homes for two of our remarkable Mississippi rescues, Kaine and River, who will now thrive with their new families, with River also gaining a new furry companion, as they embark on new journeys, one in the north and the other in Georgia.
Happy tails sweet boys it’s been a pleasure to be part of your journey.

Unfortunately we have only received $100 in donations.
We are currently STOPPING ALL RESCUE EFFORTS AND EVENTS are CANCELLED until further notice.
If no solution is found we will close our doors and transfer all dogs out to other rescues or shelters.
I’m one person trying to help the homeless animals in the Deep South and can not transport in this fashion.
Only have till the end of the day to raise the funds needed to order the unit and have it installed before our scheduled transport leaving our 2 Hands Saving 4 Paws Humane Society Inc facility on June 5.
Even looked into rentals and no rental will allow us to transport animals in their vehicles.
Sad day for so many of our rescues.

Our rear AC in our K-9 Express has stopped working. In a moment of urgency, we were planning to install a trailer hitch and generator to run fans, a temporary solution to our existing problem.

All donations can be made directly to Mike's RV Repair by calling 1-803-979-0022.

However, we have been presented with an incredible opportunity. We have found an expert in RV installation AC units who can provide a permanent solution.
We need to raise $2200 in the next 32 hours to order the new parts in time for next week's transport.
The total cost of the new AC with Mike's RV in Grovetown, Ga is $3200. This is a vital component to our rescue efforts, and the welfare of the animals depends on our success.

We urge you to help if you can, as the lives of the rescues are counting on us.

Heading to where the Banjo’s 🪕play. So many beautiful throwaway pups and dogs who didn’t deserve the wrong doings they have encountered.
Spay and neuter is the only way to elevate the overwhelming, overpopulation of unwanted animals.
All photos are from when they were first taken into safety. Most found abandoned in ditches, starving and unloved. They have all been in foster homes preparing for me to arrive. The change in their conditions is remarkable while under the care of our partners.

Biscuit is making a slow recovery. It’s heartwarming to see him wagging his tail while overcoming the devastating effects of starvation, which has left his head concave.
This doesn’t happen overnight, this is a slow process that typically indicates severe loss of muscle mass, a challenge that Biscuit is bravely facing. The head caving in is typically the last phase of starvation, and Biscuit has shown remarkable strength in fighting to recover.
His bloodwork shows no signs of organ failure , a blessing that has allowed us to focus on his healing.
He’s one very fortunate boy that the Game Wardens were called out to the scene for other violations and he was found, a stroke of luck that has given him a second chance.
He is on a refeeding program which consists of 6 small meals a day every 3 hours, a nourishing regimen that is helping him regain his strength and rebuild his muscles. We will weigh him this week to see the incredible progress he has made in the past 12 days.
All of us 2 Hands Saving 4 Paws Humane Society Inc are rooting for him as he continues to fight for his life.
