Dad is out of town, so a haul for Luke & Adam was in order.

Dad’s out of town and the boys have questions…

Where did he go?
When is he coming back?
And most importantly… why weren’t they consulted?

Monsters for our monsters 🖤

I think spooky season has officially started around here 🎃 The boys are excited about it 👻

Luke sharing his bone with Adam. 🐾❤️ He’s always been good about sharing with his little brother—even the good stuff.

The boys’ first trip to Ross 😂🐾 Apparently shopping is a family activity now.

Luke & Adam came along to explore the aisles, sniff out the deals, and supervise every purchase.

Every night, without fail, Luke has to get his bedtime attention in. 😂

Head pushed directly into me, neck scratches, ear scratches, double pats — the whole routine.

Just a very independent Irish Red & White Setter who also requires a full bedtime service before calling it a night. 😂

Adam has always been the kind of dog who thinks eating is a race. 😂

If we give him one of his full meals on an open plate, he eats so fast that he can end up throwing it right back up. So his two big meals every day are almost always served in this silicone slow feeder.

The maze makes him actually slow down and work through his food instead of inhaling it. The silicone is easy to clean, the suction helps keep it in place, and most importantly—we don't just recommend this because we found it online. Adam genuinely uses it every single day.

Road-trip stop with Luke & Adam 🐾

One thing I always look for on longer trips is a safe place where they can actually stretch their legs—not just a quick bathroom break behind a gas station. Some apartments and hotels have designated fenced dog areas, and they’re perfect for letting them get some scents in, open up their stride, and burn off a little pent-up energy before getting back on the road.

We can only walk so fast. They can move a whole lot faster.

I’ve also been using this TUG extended leash every day for about 3 years—rain or shine, roughly a combined 5K of walking a day—and I’ve never had an issue with it tangling. The extra length gives them room to pick up a higher trot, move back and forth, and stretch out more naturally while we walk.

For nighttime stops, the little TUG flashlight attachment is especially handy—and the leash handle can even help carry a bag when your hands are full.

A short stop with a little freedom and movement can make a long road trip a whole lot better for the dogs.
