"Roadblock" The Softshell Turtle 😄🐢

Had a pretty cool moment today at Sawgrass Grove.

Came across this big Florida softshell turtle—right around 2 feet long and heavy—slowly making her way through a busy roundabout where she was really hard to spot. We ended up stopping traffic for a moment to make sure she got safely out of the road and kept heading where she was going.

They’ll actually travel a good distance on land like this, especially this time of year.

Just one of those little reminders why we love being around animals as much as we are ❤️
