Oreo had tons of fun at his Holiday Foster, he got lots of cuddles, walking, and much needed relax time! He will be back in the shelter Monday but this would be the perfect time for someone to swoop him up ❤️

Wishing that people would not do fireworks 🎆 on New Years 🥂 is NOT enough.

Fireworks 🎇 WILL happen in our community tonight. Please make sure to double check your dogs 🐾 collar to make sure that your name, phone number, and address are legible. And make sure that collar is securly on your doggy at all times

🏠 If your doggy gets away and ends up here in the shelter, we would love to reunite you as soon as possible 🫶 ❤️ 🏡

We've recently taken in some very cute youngsters, all three are available for foster to adopt until they are medically ready for adoption!

Chowder- Male born Nov.1st, mom is American bulldog and dad is unknown. (~10lbs & 8wks old)

Cosmo- Male born Aug. 27th (4-5mo) currently 10lbs
Wanda- Female born Aug. 27th (4-5mo) currently 13lbs (Mom is mini poodle/ border collie mix, dad unknown)

Our dog runs get allot of use because we try and get the dogs as much outside time as possible. Inside the shelter we have older metal kennels that echo loud noises and outside time provides a quiet and relaxing break.

When muddy season came upon us, Jacque and Tad Johnson stepped up in a big way and had a load of bark chips delivered to the shelter to fight the mud issue🩷🐾

Donations like these mean allot to the dogs in our care- we want their unfortunate time at the shelter to be as safe and comfortable as possible while they wait for their forever home.

It’s super hard to take really good photos of the shelter doggies for their adoption fliers. Optimist Printers came through for us in a big way and donated a little photo shoot for the holiday season. Thank you Optimist Printers for all that you do for our community - Shop local folks, it matters!

Come down to the shelter to get some much needed puppy breath kisses! This little chunk, Chowder, is brand new to the shelter and looking for his forever home. At just 1 month and 15 days this guy isn't quite ready for official adoption but he is eligible for foster to adopt!

American bulldog mix, ~10lbs and the sweetest guy ever! Good with dogs, cats, children, everything!
