CGHS would like to take a moment to honor the memory of Barbara Bailey who sadly passed away on May 10th. Barbara was a longtime supporter and compassionate champion for the shelter animals in The Dalles. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the shelter touched countless lives-both human and animal alike. Barbara believed deeply in giving animals safety, care, and love, and her support helped make that possible for so many over the years.

She will be remembered with gratitude and affection by all of us that knew her at HAL and CGHS. Her legacy of compassion will continue to live on through the animals and community she cared for so deeply.
