• Regular Friday closure on Oct 3

This week we are saying our goodbyes to our 2025 summer interns. Mia Garcia will be attending CGCC to start her journey to become a medical assistant. Her patience, understanding, and thorough approach are a perfect match for this career. Zach Banks will be studying mechanical engineering at OSU. He's been putting those engineering skills to work through his entire 4-H and school career. Congratulations, Mia and Zach!

Harvest Fest at The DIG!

This Saturday, September 6 at 9 a.m., Master Gardeners Garry and Peggy Peterson will lead a Wasco County Master Gardener Association program on plants that grow well in our Gorge environment. Learn what has been especially successful for local gardeners.

This will be a show-and-tell discussion featuring the abundance of produce, herbs, and flowers grown right here. You’ll be amazed at the variety!

Come join us and leave inspired with new plants to try in your own garden next year. Community sharing is welcome. Did something perform especially well for you this season? Bring a sample to share with the group. We love learning from one another.

Please join us next Saturday (8/23) at the Sorosis Park Rose Garden from 9-10am for a presentation by our very own Master Gardener, Marilyn on rose maintenance.

Learn when and how to prune, various ways to tackle common rose pests and diseases, and general rose care. This presentation is free and open to the public. Please come join us and learn all about roses!
