🥔🐾 MEET TATER TOT & PEANUT 🐾🥜
A sweet mother–daughter duo looking for calm, loving homes

Tater Tot and Peanut share a special bond as mother and daughter, but both girls would do best being adopted separately so they can continue to grow, build confidence, and thrive in their own environments.

💛 Tater Tot
Tater Tot is a 7.5-month-old Corgi mix with a tan coat and the cutest big ears. She’s a shy, gentle puppy who will blossom with a patient, understanding adopter. She’s still learning basic commands and leash skills, but she’s very food motivated, making training a great confidence booster. Tater Tot does well with other dogs (meet and greet required) and would do best in a quiet home without young children, as loud noises and high energy can be overwhelming for her.

🥜 Peanut
Peanut is a 1.5-year-old Retriever/Pug mix with a soft tan coat and an equally soft heart. She can be reserved at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines. Peanut is still working on leash training and basic commands, and treats are the fastest way to earn her trust. She does well with other dogs (meet and greet required) and would thrive in a calm, low-noise home without young children.

✨ While they came to us together, Tater Tot and Peanut are looking for separate homes where each can receive individualized attention, continue building confidence, and form a strong bond with their new family.

These 2-month-old Border Collie mix puppies are full of holiday cheer, puppy kisses, and playful energy. This festive crew includes:

Meet Rocco, our handsome 2-year-old pitbull/lab mix with a gentle heart and a thoughtful soul. Rocco is the kind of dog who just needs a little time and understanding to truly shine — and this Christmas, he’s wishing for a family who will give him exactly that. 🎁✨

It's that time of year!! Join us tomorrow for our heartwarming Annual Christmas Pup Feast, a joyous celebration where every shelter pet receives a beautifully prepared Christmas feast. From the elegantly set dinner table to the Chritmas plates filled with delectable turkey, ham, and all the trimmings, followed by delightful doggie desserts, our dedicated staff and volunteers lovingly serve each dog with tender care, ensuring they feel cherished and valued. It's a moment to spread love, kindness, and the true spirit of Christmas to our 4-legsd fur babies! To make it even more magical, Santa Claus will make a special appearance, allowing each furry friend to choose their favorite toy. We're deeply grateful to announce that Santa will be none other than Texas State Representative Jared Patterson, who will be flying in from the Texas StaCapitol in Austin. What an honor to have a leader from our capital who shares our passion for animal welfare and compassion! This is truly a blessing!!

PLEASE, enough with the strays.

Care enough about your pet to microchip them. Care enough about your pet to look for them when they go missing. Care enough about your pet to reclaim them from the shelter.

Just care, because right now their owners don’t care enough!

All five of these dogs have come in to our care in the last week. And not a single one has been reclaimed. And it’s an absolute shame that their people don’t care.

We will love these dogs until a new family comes by to welcome them home.

But as a society, let’s do better.
