The stunning grey stallion MS TrucoSeix is a proven performer who offers an ultimate outcross with color. In his barrel racing career, MS TrucoSeix was a 1D money winner, including at the lucrative Pink Buckle Open race in 2019, and earned AQHA points as well.

“He always wanted to do his job,” said Joao Leao, one of the jockeys that had success with MS TrucoSeix in his career. “He was very easy to work with.”

With a straight racehorse pedigree, Truco has speed to burn: his sire is the $10 million producing stallion Tres Seis, who is a top ten all time producer in barrel racing, and his dam carries the blood of both First Down Dash and Corona Cartel, another proven producer both on the track and in the arena.

With limited foals of performance age, MS TrucoSeix is already producing winners as racehorses and barrel horses, including Tricked Out N Chrome, a futurity champion.

“Truco was strong and honest,” Leao said, adding he has a three-year old who looks and acts just like his sire. “I’m very excited to run him in the futurities next year; he reminds me so much of Truco, same color, same size and same personality.”

Our mission with Young Guns League is to encourage growth and genetic diversity within the barrel racing industry through the promotion of young stallions’ progeny. The YGL Event is held with the Pink Buckle each year and we have a $250,000 guaranteed payout futurity and $250,000 guaranteed payout derby - and you only run against Young Guns League Stallions and their progeny! Once a stallions oldest foals hit 8 years old, that stallion will age out of this program but all nominated foals stay eligible as long as they pay nominations!

We understand it can be hard to manage all the rules of incentives, and we don't want any one to miss out because they missed enrolling our first year - in 2024.
