Auntie Dog offers Puppy Basics, Private Puppy Prep School, Obedience Group, private lessons, remote collar training and Training Camp. You and your pup will be introduced to a series of focus and attention exercises that will prepare both of you for his adult life. Weekly Q & A sessions discuss housebreaking, mouthing, the “pup-kid relationship” and much more. We promote open discussions dealing w

ith all puppy health and training challenges. Class size is small so that you and your pup have direct interaction and hands on training with your AKC Certified S.T.A.R. At the conclusion of your five-week program, you will be invited to a sixth class to review your pup’s skills and to take the AKC S.T.A.R.Pup certification test. Private Puppy Prep School is offered for owners that prefer one-on-one instruction or who wish to involve their family in Pup’s training. Puppy Prep School may also be taken as a bridge program through obedience for the older (up to 6 months of age) or more advanced pup. Our Obedience program is open to adult dogs and puppies who have completed either Puppy Basics or Private Puppy Prep School. Group class programs are offered in six one-hour sessions. Tuition includes basic equipment, PawTalk membership and one Graduate School session. Private lessons are offered to accommodate your schedule. Day, evening and weekend sessions are available. Private lesson packages and Private Prep School include core lessons, basic equipment, PawTalk membership and one Graduate School session. Camp dogs live and train with our staff while enrolled in Training Camp. Camp session packages average 4 weeks. During camp, your dog will become part of the Auntie Dog family. He will travel daily to the Studio and train in the neighborhood around real-life distractions and challenges. Camp dogs are provided with “recess” and “mixers” after lessons. They enjoy home-style dormitory accommodations during their camp stay. Once your dog has completed Camp you will receive a comprehensive homecoming lesson, summary manual and follow up private lessons. Camp is even open to pups beginning at 4 months old.

We are seeking an additional Kennel Assistant. Duties include, feeding, exercising dogs, checking dogs in & out and cleaning. Experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person. We will also train you to start foundational dog training.

Hours: Sunday 6:30 am to 1pm, Monday 3pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday 3 to 8:00pm and Saturday 6:30am to 12pm.

Candidates should be at least 18 years of age, have dependable transportation and a valid drivers license.
