We’re a boutique dairy farm in the middle of suburban Tampa & home to Charley’s kitty rescue. We no longer go to markets on the weekends.

Closed Monday and half day Tuesday for the dreaded paperwork and personal rejuvenation. Any confirmations on orders are sent out either on Friday evening for Saturday Market or Sunday early am for farm pickups that day. We cannot do farm tours for groups or organizations as we do not have the appropriate insurance. We do participate with AirBNB Experiences for tours but they must be booked through AirBNB. You've heard of the eye of the tiger? Well, this is the stare of the emu. And it's very intimidating to just about everyone except Pam, who raised Fred and Ethel. The emu is a flightless Australian bird that can gut a predator with its large claws and can run at speeds up to 30 mph. The males sit on the eggs, which are large and colored a beautiful shade of teal/jade.

Annie weighs 28 pounds, not bad for a kid who started life as a tiny 3 1/2-pound baby. She was weighed Monday in order to calculate her dose of a med called Dimethox. Until they're weaned, our babies receive regular periodic doses of this liquid to prevent illness caused by coccidia, a parasite.

🐐 **A Few Things to Share with You Today!!!** 🥛🥚

First, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who gets their cow milk orders in on time! You have no idea how much that helps me. ❤️

**A quick reminder about market orders:** We are busy getting everything ready for market and don’t have time to check the computer while we’re there. Emails asking, “Hey, I forgot to order. Do you still have any?” won’t be seen until after the market is over. Calling our number can be hit or miss, too, since I (Pam) am usually busy on the farm and don’t always hear the phone.

**The bottom line? Don’t procrastinate — get those orders in early!** 😊

And yes, eggs are still in short supply!

We keep a good inventory of frozen milk for you to purchase when you visit us. Many customers use it to help keep their products cool on the trip home.

Frozen milk is available in **half-gallons and gallons only!**

🥚 **We Have More Than Just Regular Chicken Eggs!**

We’ll share more about our eggs in another post, but did you know we carry several different kinds?

🐔 **Regular chicken eggs**
🐣 **Banty eggs** — small eggs from small chickens
🐦 **Guinea fowl eggs** — from a game bird, and a unique addition to our egg selection
🦆 **Duck eggs** — very limited supply
🐤 **Quail eggs**

And there’s more! When they’re in season, we also expect to have:

🥚 **Emu eggs** — starting in late December or early January
🥚 **Goose eggs** — hopefully starting sometime in February

These eggs are very seasonal, and we only get a limited number each year, so availability is always limited. Keep an eye out for them!

You can't make this up......got an order from a new customer. She called wanting to know where we were located? Asked her where she was since we were closing soon. She says South Eugene - I asked her was that South Eugene Oregon? Yeppers!!! She thought she got another Dancing Goat in her area. We had a wonderful laugh over it all! While you are giggling, we have a couple gallons of cow milk left over that is available tomorrow from today's no-shows. DM me if interested.
