I’m officially a pondy… I’m addicted to this tiny body of water in the backyard, however, the last few months have been humbling. We made some more permanent updates and I ended up with a massive algae bloom and lost all my fish ☹️

I made some critical errors & identified some toxic substances in the water source I was using. (I had to get serious about water testing and understanding the results.)

I did, however, understand that a frog laid eggs in my pond…. If this has never happened to you, this means literally 100’s of tadpoles within days!

Today was the day to stock the pond, 4 goldfish will be feasting as soon as they’re released into their new home.

Hey, I’m sure some of the tadpoles will make it, I’m OK with that…

We’re not quite done with our lil pond but we think it’s coming along nicely.

Is there something you enjoy so much you’d do it for free? Then volunteer!

It’s time to sow the seeds at the farm and today was all about the flowers.

Snapdragons, they are the tiniest seeds ever!, it’s amazing how brilliant they become.

Nasturtiums and they will end up in the salads, so pretty and good enough to eat!

Sleep is essential. Sleep is healing to the body and the mind. There is no one that makes good choices tired.

Knowing what drains your energy and what charges you is vital.

Tired emotionally?
Tired physically?

1️⃣ Recharge your spirit man

2️⃣ feed your body nourishing food

3️⃣ clear your mind by talking to a friend or writing your thoughts done

Get some sleep and take a walk over the bridge

I was a bit apprehensive going in… I’ve been thinking about my first for a couple weeks, I even invited a few people to come with me and it was a hard no!
The “why” always gets me… how can you say no to honoring hero’s like Lt Michael P. Murphy? He sacrificed everything. The tradition to honor with a bit of sweat and humble pie is what makes it amazing.
Yea, it’s really hard, yea, I had to modify and I will likely remember for the upcoming week my 63 minutes and 44 seconds with my aching body.

When you’re “in training”, it isn’t always pretty. The blood, sweat and tears in the midst of the grind show up in sometimes awkward places.

you may feel
out of breath,
out of time,
no energy

and literally at the end of your rope.

But it’s at this place, my friend

that the magic happens. ⚡️🌟

you find that the end is, in reality, a new beginning.

I want to encourage you today that you are so much more than you imagine 😊.

so just keep taking another breath, another step and it’s OK to cry a little along the way.
