Sunday Special Spotlight! Meet Spencer!
She was just a fragile baby when she was rescued—barely more than skin and bones, her eyes sealed shut from a severe upper respiratory infection. It was a rough start, one that left a permanent mark: one of her eyes healed smaller than the other. But maybe that’s what makes her special—because despite everything, she fought to survive.
With weeks of antibiotics, gentle care, and love, Spencer pulled through. She’s now 2 yrs old, still carrying pieces of her past—she can be shy with new people, cautious in a way only trauma teaches. But give her just a little time, a little patience, and you’ll see her bloom. Once she trusts you, Spencer is pure sweetness, the kind of soul who gives quietly and loves deeply.

Somewhere out there, there has to be someone meant just for her. Someone kind, gentle, and willing to give her that tiny bit of time she needs. Spencer will be so lucky to find you—and you’ll be just as lucky to find her.
