Honestly, Kona is one of those dogs that is impossible not to love once you meet her. She is happy, affectionate, goofy, loyal, and FULL of personality.

She thrives on interaction with her people and absolutely lives for ball time. If you want a dog that wants to be involved in your life, follow you around, play, cuddle, and truly be your best friend then Kona is that girl. 🖤🤎

✔️ Sweet temperament
✔️ Loves people

She does great with children, though due to her playful nature and occasional lack of awareness of her size, I’d recommend kids 5+ just so everyone enjoys her enthusiasm.

Kona has shown interest in chasing cats if not corrected, but she has been making really great progress with consistency and guidance.

This girl deserves a family that wants an active companion and true relationship with their dog not just a dog that exists in the house. She has so much love to give and is going to make someone incredibly happy. I am in absolutely no rush to place her and if the right family doesn’t come along we are happy to keep her with our pack here. 🫶

They pay attention to far more than commands. They read body language, energy shifts, tone changes, routines, and emotions constantly.

Many owners describe them as almost human like in the way they anticipate moods, recognize patterns, and stay deeply connected to their people.
