Just hafta put animals in containers early in the morning. Otherwise all ready for Salt City Reptile Expo tomorrow. Hoping I feel halfway decent for it! I’ll manage either way. Taking a lot and hopefully coming home with at least a few less 🤞🏼

Everytime someone gets a hog from me and it doesn’t eat for months, if it comes back to me, I have it eating within 24 hours! In this case it required scenting, which they had also tried, but after several months i was doing whatever it takes to get a meal in asap even tho its still in pretty good body condition

I now know a 300 gallon stock tank can just barely make it into my basement. Future upgrade mostly for the mbu puffer

😱 was going to town on cleaning snakes, moving stuff around from getting rid of a few, and reorganizing wiring, and didn’t realize how quickly time went by! I almost never work on that stuff this late anymore, especially without a few beers! 😆 and to think i was so dead tired this morning from yesterday’s expo, I almost went back to bed, and needed 2 large lattes today (maybe that did it)

Was originally waiting for a royal clown knife fish to pop up locally again, but this regular clown knife has a gorgeous pattern and is big enough to go in with my big fish, so I couldn’t resist. Now I’m really gonna hafta work on getting a bigger tank (or 2 😂)

My little oddball finally fully emerged and shed out. More intense in person. Thought there was more than one this nuts but there isn’t. Clutch mates are saturated in color tho, just not like this! Clutch pic in comments

First time fully producing smooth death feigning beetles! We’ve managed to produce a few blue dfb

We’ve had a little luck producing captive bred blue death feigning beetles, but now we can also add “smooth” death feigning beetles to the list of stuff we’ve produced!
