🐾 Winter Pet Safety Tips from Dapper Dog Grooming Company❄️

• Always use pet-safe salt or ice melt on sidewalks and driveways—regular salt can burn paws and be toxic if licked
• Give those paws a quick wipe after outdoor adventures to remove salt, ice, and chemicals 🐶
• If your pet cannot be brought indoors, make sure they have a safe and proper outdoor setup
• Provide a sturdy, insulated dog box or shelter to protect from wind, snow, and freezing temps 🏠
• Ensure fresh water is available at all times and check often to be sure bowls are not frozen 💧
• Limit outdoor time in extreme cold and always watch for signs of discomfort
