These👏 things👏happen.
What makes Paw Pals different and stand above the average pet sitter, is the fact that I've been a veterinarian's assistant over 4 years. I know what steps need to be taken to maintain an illness/injury until the owners get back OR (in more emergent cases) can be your medical liason. See below for Gracie's story.
Gracie is a sweet girl who has an overwhelming amount of love to be shared, even with her cat brother who may not want that much lovins. Day 1, I walked in and Gracie's eye was swollen, red, had discharge, and she was squinting and pawing at it. I immediately sent pictures to the owner to let them know what was going on. They we're getting back in just a few days so they would be able to take her to the vet then. In the meantime, I applied a cone and wiped away the discharge from her eyes twice daily while monitoring the redness and swelling. I had to hold her food and water bowls up for her and really be her hype girl when going #1 and #2 outside 😂. In the end, her eye improved significantly while wearing the cone and should be a quick fix with a vet visit and some medications. See progress pictures below! 💜
