This is why I don't shave double coated dogs. I know it's a controversial subject but I go by my personal experiences. This guy had to be shaved for medical reasons but his hair still hasn't grown back properly and more than likely won't. There is no guarantee and now we have to watch for any sun or skin damage. He is still a cute little ole man though.
