Being a Kennel tech is SO much more than just cleaning kennels.
They are the ones making sure every animal feels safe, comfortable, loved and cared for while they're with us. ❤️

A day in the life of a kennel tech includes:
🥣Feeding and providing freshwater
🧹Cleaning and sanitizing kennels
🧺Doing so many loads of laundry
🐕Walking dogs and providing exercise and enrichment
🤍Giving plenty of love, comfort and attention
🐈Monitoring pets for changes in behavior, appetite or overall well-being
🛁Helping to keep our furry friends clean and comfortable
🤝Supporting the veterinary team and helping animals get the care they deserve!

To ALL kennel techs out there: THANK YOU for showing up, working hard, and loving the animals who cant tell us what they need, your work matters more than you know! 🐾💙

💙 HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN APPRECIATION WEEK! 💙🐾

Have you ever wondered what veterinary technicians do? 🩺🐶🐱

Veterinary technicians are the superheroes behind the scenes of veterinary medicine! They do so much more than most people realize. 💙

🐾 They care for and comfort pets when they are scared, sick, or in pain.

🩺 They assist with surgeries and monitor patients under anesthesia to help keep them safe.

💉 They administer medications and vaccines and give treatments prescribed by the veterinarian.

🩻 They take X-rays and collect lab samples to help diagnose illnesses and injuries.

❤️ They monitor vital signs and keep a close eye on patients during recovery.

🐶 They restrain and handle animals safely while providing gentle, compassionate care.

🚨 They help during emergencies and work quickly under pressure when every second counts.

🤍 They comfort worried pet parents, explain care instructions, and celebrate the little victories that mean everything.

Behind every wagging tail, every purr, every successful surgery, and every recovering patient, there is often a veterinary technician giving their time, energy, knowledge, and heart.

This Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week, let's celebrate the incredible people who dedicate their lives to caring for our furry family members. 🐾💙

To every veterinary technician: THANK YOU for your compassion, hard work, dedication, and love. You make a difference in more lives than you will ever know! 🐕🐈
