🐴 HELP WANTED — PART-TIME BARN STAFF
SunFire Equestrian | Suffolk, VA

SunFire Equestrian is growing, and we’re looking to add one or two reliable, hardworking people to our barn team.

This is a hands-on barn position and may include:

• Cleaning and bedding stalls
• Hay and water
• Feeding and preparing/soaking feed
• Bringing horses in and turning horses out
• Cleaning buckets, troughs, feed pans and barn areas
• Sweeping/blowing aisleways
• Helping keep the barn clean, organized, and client-ready
• General horse and barn care

Horse experience is preferred, but reliability, common sense, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are just as important to us.

We are looking for people who understand that horses are individuals and their needs can change from day to day. We need team members who notice things, communicate when something doesn’t look right, and take pride in leaving the barn better than they found it.

We have morning and evening shifts available, including weekend opportunities. Shifts are paid at a flat rate based on the shift and responsibilities.

It's still a little surreal seeing our story in the news! ❤️🐴

We're incredibly grateful to be featured by The Virginian-Pilot as they shared the story of SunFire Equestrian's journey to our new home at the historic Perry Farm. What started as a dream has become a reality, and we couldn't have done it without the support of our amazing riders, families, boarders, and community.

Thank you to everyone who has cheered us on along the way. We're so excited for this next chapter and can't wait to continue growing, welcoming new riders, and making memories at SunFire Equestrian.
