WEC Winter Spectacular Week 2 was a success ✅ Many blue ribbons and tricolors were won 🏆 All of the horses and riders were amazing (even the Junior Hunters who had an impromptu night class Saturday 🌝)! Highlights from the week include:

⭐️Brittany Davis & her ‘TW Mccormick’ finish 🥇in the $3,500 Non-Pro Adult Hunter Derby with the highest score in the Classic portion of 85!

⭐️Lauren Dellalla’s ‘Simply Sensational Ea’ paired up with Annabelle Brown for the first time, and proved successful with 🏆Champion🏆in the 16-17 Large 3’3” Junior Hunters! They finished with an 88 and 🥇🥇🥉 in the division!

⭐️Grace Littreal & her ‘Epic’s La Mia’ haven’t missed a beat, and finished 🏆Reserve Champion🏆 in the 16-17 Small 3’3” Junior Hunters Division with 🥇🥈🥈🥉 placings! They also finished 5th in the Small Junior Classic! Sam & Mia also finished with a 4th in the USHJA 3’3” out of nearly 60 horses!

⭐️Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stellar’ had another successful week with Sam, finishing with multiple 🥇🥈 placings in the USHJA 3’ & 3’ Greens, including the win over fences out of 45 horses! He also finished 4th in the Green Incentive with an 85.5!

⭐️Lorelei Long teamed up with ‘On Your Mark’ to finish out her time in FL with us, with great placings and scores in the Low Adult 18-35, placing in every class! They also finished 6th in the Low Adult Classic!

⭐️Layla Hentnik & her ‘Duvel’ had nice trips through the weekend in the 16-17 Large 3’3” Juniors and finished with a 🥈on Sunday, and had other great placings as well!

⭐️Our 2’9” USHJA horses also put in great rounds and had nice placings as well. Umiliano Van Orshof & Jenn finished with a 4th over fences, Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Wroyal Kate’ & Jenn earned a 🥉, and Sam & Valcor Sporthorses’ ‘Douglas Van Klein Statum Z’ finished with an 8th as well.

❄️What an amazing start to Winter Circuit 2026! All of our horses and riders had an amazing week! We are so excited to be back at the World Equestrian Center for the next 12 weeks! Some highlights from the week include: ❄️

❄️Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stellar’ was 🏆Champion🏆3’ Green and $1,000 Green Incentive Winner with Sam, and was also 🥇in the $1,500 NAL/WIHS Children’s Classic, and Reserve Champion in the 14 & Under Children’s Hunters with Logan!

❄️Evynn Morelli & her ‘Orchard Hills Dipped in Gold’ were 🏆Champion🏆 in the Children’s Pony Equitation, and Reserve Champion in the Large Children’s Pony Hunters! They also were 🥈in the Children’s Pony Classic with an 85!

❄️Logan Smith & her ‘Paradise City’ earned an 85 to a class win 🥇 and finished Reserve Champion in the 12-14 Equitation! They also finished 7th in the THIS Medal!

❄️Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stargold Balou’ and Sam finished 9th in the $15,000 USHJA National Derby and earned an 89 in the Handy round! They also had top 3 placings in the 3’3” Greens, and finished 🥉in the $1,000 Green Incentive with an 87!

❄️Evynn Morelli & her ‘Smallwood Emma’ finished with multiple top 3 placings in the Green Medium & Regular Medium Ponies including a class 🥇win!

❄️Logan Smith teamed up with ‘Carembar Blue’ for the first time to finish 4th & 7th during the week, and 6th in the $500 .85m Classic!

❄️Logan Smith’s ‘J.L. Bean’ teamed up with Colin Shippam, and finished 🥈in the $2,500 USHJA Pony Hunter Derby! They also finished with placings in a super Large Pony division! This pony is proudly offered for sale or lease.

🎄The final show of 2025 was a successful one! Thank you to everyone at HITS for a fun week! Our group had a great first show in Florida, and first show of the 2026 show year. Highlights from the week include:

🎄’Stellar’ made his debut in the U.S. winning multiple blue ribbons, and top 3 finishes with Sam in the 3’ Greens, and finished 🏆Champion🏆 in the Children’s Horse/Pony Hunters and won 🥇 the Classic as well with Logan Smith!

🎄Evynn Morelli’s ‘Orchard Hill’s Dipped in Gold’ finished 🏆Reserve Champion🏆 in the USHJA 2’6” with Sam doing only 2 classes winning both! Evynn and Bandit also put in amazing rounds, having top 3 placings against all horses in the combined Children’s division! They also finished 6th in the Classic!

🎄Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stargold Balou’ had an amazing week, making his Derby debut finishing 6th in the $2,500 USHJA National Derby, and having top 3 placings in the 3’3” Greens with Sam!

🎄Evynn Morelli and her ‘Smallwood Emma’ made their division debut with top placings in the Regular and Green Mediums! They also finished 12th in the Pony Classic! We are so excited for them this year!

🎄Logan Smith and her ‘Paradise City’ finished 🥉in the $2,500 JR/AM National Derby! They also finished 4th in the USHJA 3’3” Hunter Seat Medal! Sam & Franklin also had a nice round in the Performance Wednesday finishing 7th out of a huge group of horses.

🎄Lauren Dellala’s ‘Simply Sensational EA’ made his 3’ Green debut with Sam, placing in every class out of a big group of 3’ Green horses! This top young hunter is proudly offered for sale.

🎄Logan Smith and her ‘J.L. Bean’ had multiple top 3 placings in a huge group of Large Ponies! They also finished 7th in the Pony Classic! This amazing pony is offered for Lease or Sale and available to be tried!

🎄Thank you as always to everyone who makes it all happen - Bob Crandall for all his help in the beginning of the week, Melvin & Olman for taking the best care of the horses, Lorelei for everything, Jenn & Agita for keeping everything going at home, and Dr. Darragh for keeping the horses feeling great!

With showing in Florida all winter, and competing a lot outside of our Zone, it’s hard for our horses and riders to earn top Zone placings, so congratulations again to everyoneed

We had a great final show of the 2025 show season at Tryon International, for the Duke ‘Jump for the Children’ horse show! All the horses and riders were great and we had much success! Highlights from the week include:

⭐️Sam & Grace Littreal’s ‘Epic’s La Mia’ were 🏆Champion 🏆in the 3’3” Performance finishing 🥇🥈🥈 only showing one day! Grace also competed in the USHJA National Derby under lights, just finishing right outside the top 12. They also earned a 🥇in the 3’3” Junior Hunters!

⭐️Evynn Morelli & her ‘Orchard Hills Dipped in Gold’ finished with multiple top ribbons in the Children’s Pony 2’6” just missing a tricolor, including a 🥇& 🥈over fences! Sam & ‘Bandit’ finished Reserve in the USHJA 2’6” only doing 2 classes.

⭐️Elizabeth Smith’s ‘Stargold Balou’ & Sam finished with a win 🥇 over fences and a 🥈his first time in the 3’3” Greens!

⭐️Evynn Morelli & her ‘Smallwood Emma’ had multiple 🥇🥇blue ribbon placings, including a win in the 2’ Children’s Pony Hunters, and competed in the Team Challenge where they earned an 82 & 80 to help Team Green finish 5th! Go Evynn 💚💚💚

⭐️Sam teamed up with Ack Daddy LLC’s ‘Carembar Blue’ to put in two nice clear rounds this week!

Now home for a couple of weeks, then we head off to Florida for the winter circuit! Can’t wait for sunshine and fun! ☀️🌴🌻🔜🔜

🌟Stargold Balou🌟 finishes 8th in the 6 & Under Green Hunters Stake class with Sam this week at Capital Challenge, and 8th in the Under Saddle! He also had other great rounds just finishing outside of the jog, out of 28 super Hunters! Proud of this young horse, who has only shown a handful of times in the hunters before coming here. Excited for his future! Thank you to his owners for their support ❤️

We had a very busy, but fun and successful week at the Maryland Horse and Pony Show! Thank you to Alan & Jessi for running such a great show! The hospitality was great, and everyone enjoyed being there (despite the super long days/nights)! Thank you, as always, to Melvin & Olman for all their hard work and to Casey for helping us this week, we loved having you! Highlights from the week include:

🔴Shadow Ridge Farm’s ‘Quoted’ finished Champion in the 2’9” USHJA Hunters winning 2 over fences and finishing 2nd in the Under Saddle with other podium finishes! Good boy Q!

🔴Evynn Morelli & ‘Pentens Icy’ WON the USEF Pony Medal, was 🥉 in the VHSA Pony Medal, and finished 8th in the WIHS out of 20+ other ponies! They also finished 8th out of a huge USHJA 2’ warm up class! ‘Frozen’ also won Best Turned Out on Saturday in the covered - Go Melvin & Olman!

🔴Grace Littreal & her ‘Epic’s La Mia’ placed in every class with top scores in the 80’s including a 🥈 out of 20+ horses in the 3’3” 15 & Under Junior Hunters! Sam & ‘Mia’ also finished in the ribbons in the 3’3” Performance

🔴Logan Smith teamed up with ‘Bise Du Rouet’ where they won 🥇 2 Speed classes & 🥈 in the Jump Off class for Logan’s first time showing in the Jumpers!

🔴’Stargold Balou’ put in some of his best trips yet with Sam, and had great scores in the 3’ Greens finishing top 10 in every class, including a win 🥇

🔴Bayshore Capital’s ‘Korlando’ put in great trips in the USHJA 2’6” and Baby Greens earning ribbons out of huge groups of horses! So proud of ‘Korey’ stepping right back in the show ring after having the summer off to “grow up” some more

🔴Allrsfarm’s ‘Moncler’ had great trips with Sam in the USHJA 3’ placing top 4 over fences and won 🥇 the Under Saddle!

🔴Logan Smith & her ‘Paradise City’ put in great trips in the Junior Hunters & in the NHS Hamel Regional Final! So proud of Logan for putting in a nice trip in her first Final.

🔴Evynn & her ‘Smallwood Emma’ had nice trips in the Small/Medium Children’s Ponies earning a 3rd & 5th out of a huge group!

Now for a little R & R, and we are off to Capital Challenge!

🌳We spent the past weekend down at the Carolina Horse Park for the Sedgefield Classic! Our small group had much success, and fun! Thank you to Martin Schlaeppi & Steve Wall for running such a great, hospitable horse show! 🌳

Highlights from the week include:

🌳Evynn Morelli & her ‘Orchard Hills Dipped in Gold’ clean swept the over fences 🧹 and walked away with Champion!

🌳 Grace Littreal & her ‘Epic’s La Mia’ finished Reserve Champion in a huge group of 3’3” Juniors with multiple 1st place finishes!

🌳 Logan Smith & her ‘Paradise City’ finished with the high score of the Classic Round in the USHJA National Derby Saturday night, with an 8️⃣9️⃣, and an unfortunate rail in the handy kept them out of the top 12. They also had lovely trips in the Junior Hunters finishing 5th in the Classic.
