We have gained many new friends since the last time I posted an updated about me!!✨

Thank you all for following, interacting, and being so supportive!! Here is a little info about me and my team!🫶🏼

We really are like a family around here and that’s how we like to operate with our clients as well! We really enjoy working with people that are investing into them and their dog who plan to go the extra step, proactively ask questions, send updated (without us having to pull teeth to get them), and that generally are compassionate people! If you fit into that box we can’t wait to work with you! If we’ve already worked with you and your dog and you’ve stuck along to continue to support us know that we endless love and appreciate you 🤍

We all love our dogs like thy are our kids, but it can be truly harmful to them if we legitimately treat them like human children. Showing them love can look different because they are different! Fulfilling, their physical and mental needs, looking out for their best interest, and advocating for them are just a few small things we can do to love them in ways that matter🤍.

I would LOVE for everyone to help me in officially welcoming trainer Mackenzie onto our team!! She has been shadowing me for a bit now and is now ready to begin taking clients of her own 🥹👏🏼!!

About Mackenzie: My journey into dog training started after graduating from the Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers, specializing in Basic Obedience and Behavior Modification. My mission is not just to address the behavioral needs of dogs but to empower their owners with knowledge about how dogs learn and communicate. Having 4+ years experience in Veterinary Medicine, I’ve had the opportunity to observe various behaviors in the clinic that has reinforced my belief that every dog can thrive with the right guidance. I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of dogs and their families. My work is driven by the joy of witnessing transformations in dogs and the deepening bond between them and their owners.

Mackenzie also has a love for plants that I’m sure some of you can relate to!!

We are SO excited to officially announce that due to popular demand we have created a discounted puppy program!!! This program goes crate and potty training, boundary setting, socialization, threshold manners (not rushing out the front door), and intro to using a leash!!!

In addition we are offering free video consultations so we can meet you virtually prior to even booking! It’s no pressure to book after the consultation but we can’t wait to meet you and talk dogs!

We always encourage proactive training over reactive training.

What does that even mean? We encourage you to get ahead of everything and start training BEFORE bad habits begin. This prevents a lot of unwanted situations and things that happen because you thought ahead!

Getting a rescue?? I always recommend you foster BEFORE you adopt! This ensures that the potential dog will in fact be a good fit for the family. A lot of people want to wait for their new dog to be comfortable prior to starting training (and if they are in bad health or physically recovering from something I would agree) however if they are in good health start training right away! A lot of time the dogs will not be comfortable enough the first couple weeks to show you their true selves. I have seen time and time again all of a sudden once that dog is comfortable they begin resource guarding you, the couch, their food, etc. just go ahead and get started so you can cut out all of that nonsense!
