Meet our handsome resident low rider, Jace! Jace is searching high and low for his forever family, are you out there?

Jace is 6 years old but has plenty of pep left in his step!

Jace's ideal home:

⛔ Cats - no

⚠️ Dogs - possibly, but this will only happen with a laid back, submissive dog and a human willing to put the work in and go slow with intros/socializing

✅ Humans - yes! Jace has never met a stranger he doesn't like. He even does well with kids that are respectful of his space and boundaries

✅ Car rides - heck yeah! He loves car rides and is an absolutely excellent passemger

✅ Walks/adventures - double yes! He is a working breed after all and he loves joining his human for adventures

✅ House broken/kennel trained

✅ Knows many basic commands, is a people pleaser, is very intelligent and is food motivated which makes him a very quick study.

In just 4️⃣ Days we’ll be heading up to Mister Mom's in Norway, MI for the Annual Lou Lorenzoni - Ride to Remember 🔥

This year’s event is sure to be a great time rain or shine, happening in memory of our dear friend and supporter (and frequent adopter), Lou Lorenzoni who loved the breed as much as we do. ❤️

Registration starts at 10a with kickstands up at 11a. And (4) stops throughout the day on the beautiful UP back roads. All are welcome- motorcycles, classic cars, side/side & 4 wheelers… u name it, we welcome it! (Making new friends is what this is all about!!) Check out the event for full details.

Came in with Ginger. He’s also pretty underweight. He’s much more outgoing than Ginger but still a little head shy, no issues with handling and did well meeting another dog he is really food motivated no sit and is really sweet. Videos in comments.

Came in as a stray with Fred. She’s pretty underweight and has some skin issues. She is also pretty timid, but does warm up with time. She does seem to be food motivated but after she has a few minutes out of the kennel, getting to know you. She did fine meeting another dog overall just a nice dog, but timid. Videos in comments.

We are ready to begin our next session of Tuesday night dog training! Classes will begin Tuesday August 11th at 6pm at 3601 Westpoint rd, Suamico. Classes are basic obedience geared towards the Canine Good Citizen test. We do 6 weeks of training and then you have the opportunity to test for no additional cost on week 7. Classes are $120 due in cash or check on the first night. To register please email [email protected].
