Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption if this has not already been done previously.

Mit Liebe (which means "with love" in German), GSD Rescue is a non-profit organization that helps neglected, abused, and or abandoned German Shepherd Dogs. Our rescue is made up of a handful of dedicated volunteers that pride themselves in dog care, training, fundraising, and communication with the public on responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. The dogs that come into our care are taken to the vet for a check-up, heartworm testing, and all current vaccinations the dog may need. The dogs are placed in a foster home for a minimum of three weeks prior to being available for adoption. During this time the dogs are evaluated by the foster parents on temperament, likes and dislikes, how they react to cats and/or children, and their energy level and drive. The foster parents also work with the animals on basic obedience training and house manners as well. ADOPTION FEE:
0-11 months = $375
1 year - 7 years = $325
8 years and older = $250
We reserve the right to not adopt to families with children. View our available dogs here: https://petlover.petstablished.com/organization/1635599

FOSTER NEEDED

Mila
Female
5 years old
Came in as an owner surrender because not enough space and no time for her. Friendly with kids, dogs but and small and cats and is anxious during car rides Very friendly and affectionate, no issues with handling. Knows sit and takes treats gently. She’s a little barky when you first approach dogs, but seems just like she’s not very confident, but does do well after some parallel walking.

FOSTER NEEDED

Demarco
Male
8 years old
Came in as an owner surrender with Javier. He’s timid at first, but no issues with handling walks well on leash. It does take him a minute to engage with you, but he knows it and paw, and he’s very food motivated. He did well meeting another dog as well.

Kids & cats unknown. Video in comments below.

FOSTER NEEDED

Javier
Male
8 years old
Came in as an owner surrender with Demarco. He’s also at first, but no issues with handling and also walks well on leash. He seems to be doing a lot more owner searching and a bit nervous but I think he’s just depressed being in this environment. He did while meeting another dog too.

Kids & cats unknown. Videos in comments below.

FOSTER NEEDED

Major
Male
3-5 years old
Came in as stray, owner has not come in for him. He’s easy to handle and walks well on leash. He will need slow intros to dogs and would do best with a dog who is more submissive and easy going. Did not appreciate another dog in his face. Knows sit!

Kids and cats are unknown. Dog test in comments below.

WE NEED YOU 💪🏼

Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue is putting on a $30,000 raffle to help us offset medical and training costs for our dogs in rescue.

The catch: We need to sell 1000 raffle tickets yet to break even. Volunteers have put out tickets at over 50 locations across Wisconsin and we have a handful of people that have offered to sell tickets, but we need more.

If you're not in an area that has a business that is selling tickets, and you want to help get them out there in your area, please message Brenda Bartel.

Can anyone help finding a business in Seymour, Freedom, Appleton, Hortonville, New London, Oshkosh, Wausau or any other location that is willing to sell tickets for us?

If you want to purchase check out our Facebook event with participating locations. Otherwise reach out to Brenda and she can put you in touch with someone selling in your area.

‼️As a reminder, the grand prize is a 2027 Polaris Ranger Crew XP (est value of $27499)
