Tiny little Odie has his first professional grooming with me. This little cutie is only 6 months old and he did fantastic for all of his hygiene 🪥 services. A big part of this process for puppies is getting them desensitized at a young age. Positive reinforcement and talking these babies through the process is a successful approach 🥰 I can’t agree with mom more, he is so adorable she didn’t think he could get anymore cuter! Give this little man some love ❤️

The many faces of grooming and the processes behind it. Also, the many faces of “I was just recently rehomed and I love my new people but I’m still adjusting.” Being able to translate animal behavior is and can be complicated unless you know and see the signs they will give you. Dogs can be “aggressive” due to fear and not actually being aggressive towards people or other dogs. Canines are just as intricate and intuitive as humans. We can read the signs and still offer safe and healthy solutions without labeling a dog as aggressive. Think about it this way..if you had to face your biggest fear, how would you react? This boy Ruben hates baths and he will tell you that himself trust me! 😂 but he is so good and receptive to other services and shows his loyal acceptance during the many phases of health and hygiene services! ❤️

This was Bella’s first professional groom and little girl did amazing! 🤩 Bella wasn’t quite sure of the Dremel at first, or getting her first little sanitary trim, however these are the proper steps in desensitizing your pup while they are young. Give little Bella some love 💕
