💔 URGENT PLEA FOR A SENIOR SOUL 💔
We’re heartbroken to share this story on behalf of one of our beloved adopters who reached out in desperation. While we’re overwhelmed and stretched thin with no available fosters or open space, we couldn’t stay silent.
This beautiful, 10-year-young girl, Cookie, just lost her whole world. Her owner—her person, her comfort, her constant—passed away after a battle with cancer. There was no one lined up to take her in when that moment came, and now she’s left confused, grieving, and without a home.
She’s now standing at a crossroads, and time is running out.
We don’t have full medical records, but she appears to be in good health. She’s selective with her doggy friends, incredibly loyal, and has the sweetest soul. She can keep up with your walks or curl up beside you on the couch. She’s gentle with kids, and we’re unsure about cats.
She doesn’t belong in a shelter. Not at her age. Not after all she’s been through.
Please—if you have room in your heart and home for a grieving senior who just wants to love again, reach out. She deserves a second chance at comfort, at peace, and at family. Let’s not let her final chapter be written in a cold, loud kennel. She’s already lost everything. 💔
