💔 URGENT PLEA FOR A SENIOR SOUL 💔

We’re heartbroken to share this story on behalf of one of our beloved adopters who reached out in desperation. While we’re overwhelmed and stretched thin with no available fosters or open space, we couldn’t stay silent.

This beautiful, 10-year-young girl, Cookie, just lost her whole world. Her owner—her person, her comfort, her constant—passed away after a battle with cancer. There was no one lined up to take her in when that moment came, and now she’s left confused, grieving, and without a home.

She’s now standing at a crossroads, and time is running out.

We don’t have full medical records, but she appears to be in good health. She’s selective with her doggy friends, incredibly loyal, and has the sweetest soul. She can keep up with your walks or curl up beside you on the couch. She’s gentle with kids, and we’re unsure about cats.

She doesn’t belong in a shelter. Not at her age. Not after all she’s been through.

Please—if you have room in your heart and home for a grieving senior who just wants to love again, reach out. She deserves a second chance at comfort, at peace, and at family. Let’s not let her final chapter be written in a cold, loud kennel. She’s already lost everything. 💔

Seeking a very special home for sweet Princess Rita!

💔 Still Waiting… Meet Rita 🐾

This sweet soul has known nothing but isolation her whole life. Since arriving in our care back in February, no one has stepped up for her. 😢

✨ Rita is a 4-year-old English Bulldog/Boxer mix, around 55 lbs of squishy cuteness.

💗 She adores stuffies she can shred and yummy treats (total love language).

👧 Kid-friendly. Potty trained. Can walk nicely on leash.

🚫 Not good with other animals. Needs patience with men – she’s been hurt before.

Rita has so much love to give, she just needs someone willing to give her a chance.

🏠 Could that be you? She’s a volunteer favorite and deserves a real shot at happiness.

Even a foster home would mean the world to her.
