**Euthanasia**: Understanding when and what constitutes the euthanasia process.

**It's Your Job**: People often tell you what your job is and what they expect from you as an animal rescuer, both the positive and negative aspects.

**Everyone's Full**: This is a common refrain; many people are overwhelmed. It's important to discuss where they can go for help.

**Can't Please Everyone**: There will always be someone who doesn’t understand the situation and may criticize you for not being able to help every animal.

**Who Do We Call?**: This is a question everyone in rescue faces, and it brings to light the efforts we are making to find solutions.

It was a rescue dog spay and neuter day today at Lemony! All of these dogs are in foster. Anyone interested in them please check the Red Barn Goofy Newfy page. These ladies and gentlemen were super cute.

It was an awesome surgery day! Our amazing team performed their 1400th surgery on a TCPD named Miri (who is available for adoption)!!
We had a couple of trapped cats, community cats, and owned cats. We even had cats come in for spay and neuter from the Virginia Beach area. How amazing!!

Check out the video (no actual video, but turn on your sound). The pound dogs wanted to let us know they did not appreciate skipping breakfast. I had to sneak up on them to record lol

Another 28 animals were spayed or neutered today! Many of them were from local rescues, shelters, or dog pounds, and a few of them were owned.
