Another of our overlooked kitties. Bandit arrived a couple months ago as part of a large group of two mamas with 8 kittens. They were communal nursing, passing the kittens back and forth, so not even the kittens knew who their "real" mama was.

Now all of the kittens are gone, and Bandit's nursing partner also found a new home. It's just Bandit now, still waiting.

When she arrived over a month ago, we thought for aure she'd find a new family within days, but the days have stretched into weeks and she still gets passed by time and time again despite eagerly greeting every visitor.

All day long, Millie (orange 4 yr female) and Mister (black 3 yr male) cuddle in their big bed and listen to visitors gushing over kittens and puppies. But even after two featured posts and receiving a full sponsorship, this pair has not had a single visitor ask to see them.

When their owner lost her home, she had to give up both cats. They are very loving but overwhelmed at the shelter. They used to live with one small dog but that's a lot different than being surrounded by dozens of other animals and strangers coming in and out constantly.

Their adoption fee has been sponsored for an approved adopter who is willing to adopt them as a pair.

Just one little Thanksgiving puppy is still waiting for a home.

Columbus is a 3 month old Pit mix. What is he mixed with? No one knows! His former owners said daddy was a stray that no one actually saw when he did the deed, resulting in a whole gaggle of puppies.

Thankfully their owners put them through the Better Beginnings program so the pups could receive all the healthcare they needed, and mama got a free spay so there will be no future little accidents... cute as they are.

This little one is the Diamond in the rough. She was found as a stray and taken in by a good Samaritan couple who kept her safe but never had any intention of keeping her.

Diamond is 8 months old, and yes, she is a female orange shorthair! If you know about cats, you know that the female oranges are fairly rare. Although we've been lucky enough to have several come through our doors in the last few months.

This little girl is just as sweet and cuddly as she appears in the pics.
