We can share dogs on euthanasia lists every day, desperately hoping a rescue or adopter will step up and save a life. 💔 WHY don’t we see that same urgency when it comes to preventing the next litter?

We couldn’t agree more with this thought shared by Robbie Miller. 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Spay and neuter programs, community education, and affordable veterinary care need to be just as urgent.

Every unwanted litter starts somewhere. Every preventable pregnancy matters. And every family that can access affordable spay and neuter services is a step toward fewer homeless animals, fewer overcrowded shelters, and fewer lives hanging in the balance.

🎯 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮. 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡.

We truly hope the day comes when the same energy, compassion, and urgency is directed toward preventing the next litter before it ever happens.

The best way to save a life is sometimes to prevent it from being born into a world that doesn't have a safe place for it.
