Some places you choose.

And sometimes, it feels like a place chooses you.

When we came to this land, I could see more than what was standing here at the time. I could see animals in the pastures, people gathering together, weddings, celebrations, agriculture, businesses growing, and a place filled with life.

I purchased the starting members of Wild Willow Ranch in 2019.

Since then, we've been building.

And building.

And changing plans.

And building some more. 😂

Today, WWR is home to cattle, horses, donkeys, pigs, fallow deer, pheasants, turkeys, guineas, chickens—and a collection of four-legged supervisors who are convinced every construction project requires their personal inspection.

But we're building much more than a ranch.

Wild Willow Ranch is becoming a place for agriculture, weddings and events, lodging, hospitality, festivals and concerts, training, businesses, community and some pretty unforgettable experiences.

There is still plenty of work ahead.

But we're finally ready to start sharing more of the journey.

Today was a huge day for Wild Willow- We officially launched Wild Willow Foundation. https://wildwillowfoundation.com/ I couldn't be happier but now the real work starts.

Supporting youth aging out of foster care with housing, life skills, and mentorship.

We had a surprise today!!! Mickie had her first successful baby and did it all on her own after miscarriage last year. This little fluffy ball is too cute!!! Mama is super sweet and let us say hello. Hopefully tomorrow we can see what s*x it is.

Taking care of the cattle. Whopper almost didn't fit. Good thing he's a gental giant I can always give him a vaccine in the open. My poor sick boy!

Sorry for the lazy posting! Things have been crazy at WWR, with the building finally starting back up, us building the new bird house, building the coop, oh and we managed to squeeze the 1st annual Buddy Games in Memorial weekend. It was a blast. It's only going to get bigger and better from here. There's more but that's for another post. Enjoy the picture overload!

We needed this rain. I hope NE received enough to help.
We had a blessed weekend! We are so close to having everyone in one place. Weekends like this make the 15 hour days worth it and remind us what we're building. This weekend little man Chet, Dutch and Love the donkeys, and Sweetheart all made it home. We almost have the new chicken coop up and soon those babies will join us the last piece.
