Hi everyone 💚

I wanted to share a quick personal update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Lyme disease. I’m currently working through treatment and learning how to manage symptoms like fatigue and flare-ups.

What this means for The Groom Room:
• I will still be grooming and keeping my current schedule as much as possible.
• There may be occasional reschedules if I’m having a rough day
• I truly appreciate your patience and understanding while I navigate this

My goal is always to give your dogs the highest quality care, and sometimes that may mean adjusting things to make sure I’m able to show up at my best for them.

On a more exciting note—Community Choice Awards voting is now live! 🐾 I haven't been paying any attention to this but we made it as a finalist!

Sefi and Rose are fully embracing the sunshine—summer is right around the corner ☀️🐾

With the busy season approaching, I’ll be opening up my books for July through December starting next week. If you have any vacations, holidays, or dates you know you won’t be available, please send those over as soon as you can so I can plan your pup’s schedule accordingly.

A gentle reminder for all of my amazing clients 🤍

The Groom Room is a mostly one-woman operation, and I’m currently caring for around 300 wonderful pups (and their humans!). Because of that, my schedule—and my time outside of it—is very full.

On my days off, I am typically unplugging, resting, and recharging so I can give your dogs the best care possible during appointments. This means I may not respond to messages, calls, or booking requests until I’m back in the salon. These days are typically Mondays and Tuesdays, but may include holidays, some weekends, or when there is a city wide power outage.

I also kindly ask that clients do not stop by my home to inquire about appointments. For the safety, privacy, and respect of my personal space, all scheduling and communication must go through my business channels.

I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support. It allows me to keep doing what I love while maintaining the quality of care your dogs deserve ✨

✨ Monthly Walk-In Nail Trim & Buff Hours ✨

I’m excited to announce that once a month, The Groom Room will be offering walk-in nail trim & buff appointments on Saturdays from 3–4PM.

The first one will be January 17th!

🐾 Pricing:
• $5 for dogs who are current Groom Room clients
• $15 for dogs not currently on my grooming schedule

Regular nail care is more than cosmetic—nail trims should be done about once a month to support proper posture, joint health, and overall comfort. Keeping nails maintained helps prevent pain, mobility issues, and accidental injuries.

No appointment needed during these hours—just stop by!
