Update: We think Kate belongs to Rodney Rayl, based on the microchip. We called the number we have on file and left a message.

This older female lab mix was found today out by our clinic mailbox. She has a microchip from HomeAgain and the company called the two numbers they had on file, but no answer. The dog's name was listed as Kate. We checked around the lake, including asking those in RV's on the North side but no takers. An employee of ours is holding her for short term. Please contact us if you recognize her.

The 4th of July is getting closer, only 1 week left to go! Please give us a call if you're still needing to get in for an appointment or some medicine for fireworks before the long weekend! Boarding is now full, but we do have a cancellation list going if you'd like to get on the list!

These two were found running in the parking lot by Dollar General here in Sterling! If you recognize them or know who they belong to please call the clinic at 620-278-3623 and we will get you in touch with the person keeping them safe!

"Gunther was born in April 2015. We bought him as a puppy from a breeder in Great Bend. We were told he was an Aussie, Blue Heeler, Border Collie mix. He definitely displays the characteristics of those breeds in that he loves to herd animals and people. He will "herd" me when he knows we are getting ready to go on a walk but after about 30 seconds he moves on. We did have to train him out of herding our cows when we first got him and he doesn't do that unless commanded to do so now. We did use him to herd some cows and goats at one point and he absolutely loved it. He loves to work and feel appreciated. He absolutely loves to fetch his kong toy or a tennis ball or a stick for you- he is great at that. He knows sit, down, and shake. He is used to being left in the house while we work all day and is house trained. He tends to be a one person type dog and is protective of me. We have him around our whole family but if someone gets worked up or loud in the room it does make Gunther anxious and I will have to console Gunther or tell him to "leave it" because he will go up to the person being loud and try to herd them. I think he would make a good companion dog for a single person that loves to have him tag along out on the farm."

“Looking to rehome our 9 month old papillon/maltese mix male puppy. He is fixed, has his rabies shots and his puppy shots. He knows sit and stay. He knows to go outside to go potty. Will have accidents if he’s not let out about every 2 hours. Loves kids and other dogs. He’s very hyper so gets annoying to other dogs. He likes to chase cats but he doesn’t hurt them. I kennel him at night and while we’re gone. Needs to have a female in the home because he’s not a fan of males. Asking for a $50 fee. Contact me at 620-664-8707 if interested. He’s very sweet and loves to give kisses and get cuddles”
