A family who is very close to us here at On the Rhodes Equine has suffered an unimaginable and heartbreaking loss. There truly are no words for a parent having to say goodbye to their child, and no family should ever have to endure this kind of pain.

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I started On the Rhodes.

I had the honor of being Homicide Hunter’s official hauler to Plainridge Park Casino for the Spirit of Massachusetts Stakes, but the day didn’t stop there. I also had the opportunity to help behind the scenes; getting Homi prepared, pitching in wherever needed, and being part of the team that helped make his appearance possible as he led the post parade for the $300,000 Spirit of Massachusetts Stakes.

It’s always an honor to play even a small role in showcasing such an incredible ambassador for the Standardbred breed.

Thank you, MMXX Standardbreds, for trusting me with another unforgettable day.

Well… that didn’t take long 😅

We picked up a new trailer and now On the Rhodes Equine can officially haul up to 4 horses at once. More seats, same VIP treatment.

And in true OTR fashion… did we admire it in the driveway? Absolutely not.
Did it go straight to work the SAME DAY? Also yes.

Because nothing says “welcome to the team” like immediately having a job.

So if you see us rolling by a little fuller than usual, no you didn’t — just kidding, you definitely did.

Now booking transport with more room, less juggling, and the same “your horse is treated like it’s ours” standard
