🚨 Important Update for Our Clients 🚨

As of July 15, 2025, Colorado PACFA regulations require all grooming facilities — including The K9 Cottage — to collect and store proof of Rabies, Distemper, and Parvo vaccines before providing services.

🐾 What You Need to Do:
Please bring a copy of your pet’s vaccine records to your next appointment so we can stay in compliance. This is a government mandate, and we are unable to legally provide any care to pets without verified documentation of all three vaccinations.

⚠️ Medical Exemptions:
If your pet cannot be vaccinated due to health concerns, a licensed veterinarian’s written exemption is acceptable under the new regulation.

Good morning everyone! I have set the clocks back for daylight savings, but it appears the scheduling software is sending out courtesy reminder texts at incorrect times. Happy Fourth of July! The fireworks are just starting to go off. A little trick that works on some dogs is to pop them a treat every time a firework explodes. One of our dogs actually gets excited every time she hears a boom because it means she will get something tasty! But again, it only works sometimes. It works on our little dog but our big dog is not so brave and just needs constant hugs 😊 here is a slideshow of pups who posed for the camera in their holiday bling at The K9 Cottage in Sterling, CO.
