Just ONE unaltered female cat living outdoors can lead 1.3 million more cats and kittens. This fancy equation we borrowed from feralcats.com/the-feral-cat-equation is based on 1 unaltered cat and all her offspring having a litter of 4 each year over a 10-year period. Considering the fact that our counties certainly have more than one unaltered cat roaming around, we have a BIG problem, and we need YOU to help us solve it.
Now that the warmer weather is here, kitten season is just around the corner, making now the purr-fect time to get involved in community cat programming.
