Wag N Tails Clients:

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to close our boarding services EFFECTIVE 9/8/2025. However, we will service all boarding reservations already in the schedule for the month of September. We are incredibly grateful for the support and trust you have shown us just shy of 13 years. We are in a new season of our life, which has made it difficult to spread myself thick enough for everyone, including myself.

I will continue to groom part time one day per week as my new schedule allows. Sara will remain a part of our grooming team, grooming full time. She has enrolled in Groom Curriculum by Marci Wanta of Blossom Pet Salon, to continue and grow her skills as a professional pet groomer. She will schedule accordingly around that schedule. We are so grateful for what she has brought to Wag N Tails for the past 3 years.

Here is a recommendation for boarding/grooming services for the future:

Zoom and Groom Mobile Grooming Services. They are a mobile unit with brick-and-mortar locations in Cameron and Holcombe. I have heard positive reviews about their groomers. They offer a multitude of service and different groomers so you can find the best fit for you and your pup.

All local groomers are booked full and to the best of my knowledge, not taking new clients.

Boarding: Paws and Claws LLC. Located in Boyd. They operate as a small facility offering personalized services for boarding clients.

Dear Clients,

There will be some new changes at Wag N Tails. I have decided to step back from the grooming table. I accepted an office position at Healthy Healing Horizons and am excited for this new path. Words can not express how grateful I am for the support from all of my wonderful clients and their pups over the years. I have built lasting friendships that I will cherish.

This change will be a gradual transition so at this time I will still be grooming minimally and availability will be limited with me. I will continue to schedule accordingly as I always have for those whom I can get in.

Many of you have gotten to know Sara. She has been working with me 1.5 years now and is ready to groom solo. She will be grooming here, at the Wag N Tails location. Most importantly, Sara is knowledgable in pet care and has an overwhleming passion for working with dogs. She will be able to take over a number of my clients based on hair cut, type of coat and temperament. This will allow her to continue to build her skills as a professional groomer. The pictures below are of her recent work.

I have reached out personally to many and have many to still contact. I am hoping to reach as many clients as I can with this post. Never hesitate to reach out with questions!

Boarding will continue to operate as normal - Sara, Aubree, and I will continue to provide the around the clock care we have for so years.

My family and myself appreciate everyone's understanding through this period of change. Change comes with so many mixed emotions- excitement for new opportunities, hesitation with the unknown, and sadness as past doors are closed❤️

🐶ATTENTION WAG N TAILS GROOM CLIENTS🐶
Recent clients that have been in to see me, I promise I am working on getting you, your next groom day. My days have been so busy, it hasnt allowed me time to look at the schedule in between pups. Friday afternoon is dedicated to ironing out the schedule!

The remainer of the year is now packed full so if your pup hasnt been on a regular schedule, I won't be able to sneak in any additional grooms.

Wag N'Tails Schedule UPDATE:

SUMMER IS FULL🌞
As many of my regulars know, I try to keep everyone pre booked, so if your dog has been on a regular schedule, you *should* have an appointment. With that said, I know things happen and pop up, especially when kiddos are in the picture. I try to accommodate by asking clients, to switch dates etc but I can not promise a prompt rebook if you need to cancel your appointment. Reminder, I have had to implement a no show/late cancellation policy of a $25 fee per dog as of the new year- it was truely getting out of control and not fair to other clients, staff, or myself.

Projecting into the fall. I have begun scheduling clients through the year as well. There are some full dates already. I have a tendency to "over-fill" the day which is taking a toll on my kids needs and my body is screaming OUCH. I will be sticking to a reasonable # of grooms for me and it will be filled at a first come first serve basis. You, that know me well, know this is not a strong suit of mine BC I do not like inconveniencing anyone.
