Exciting news! First annual Obstacle Course Clinic/Competition ๐ค
Are you looking for an educational clinic that will help you and your horse connect better and work through scary situations? Not only that, but at the end of the clinic, youโll have a chance to compete and win $500! Whether you want to compete or are seeking a highly educational experience, this clinic is for you!

Location: Integrity Horsemanship N14952 Lark Ave Stanley WI
Objective:
To enhance the connection between horse and rider while navigating various obstacles in an outdoor arena.
Schedule
Morning Session:
- Focus Areas:
- Working on the horse's front quarters and hindquarters
- Softening to the bit
- Speed control, including serpentine work and figure eights
- Working with Obstacles: Participants will practice navigating various obstacles and patterns to build confidence and connection.
Lunch break, delicious lunch provided!
Afternoon Session:
- Obstacle Work:
- Continuation of morning exercises for about an hour, focusing on obstacle navigation
COMPETITION, ๐
- Each rider will have the opportunity to compete.
- Judging Criteria:
- How well the rider handles the horse
- How well the horse handles the situation
- Time taken to complete the obstacle course
- Judges: The competition will be judged by clinician Randall Shirk, Lorelle Shirk, and Bernie Stuttgen.
Philosophy:
My method has always been simple: See obstacles not as problems, but as solutions! This applies not only to the obstacles in the course but to any challenges you face in life.

Participants will gain valuable skills in horse handling, obstacle navigation, and building a stronger bond with their horse. The tricky maneuvers will challenge both you and your horse, enhancing your teamwork.
