Our first summer camp of the year kicked off last week! ⛺️🐴

The weather definitely could’ve been better but the campers kept such a positive attitude and made the most out of the rainy days! Everyone had such a fun week learning about horses, riding, playing games, and swimming in the pond. The kids even it got to try yoga on the horses and they made it look way too easy! 😂

☀️We only have 2 spots left in both of our July 3 day camps. So if you’re looking for something fun for your kid to do this summer, contact us about getting them signed up for Camp !!

Brightonwoods Farm is proud to share that we have officially met the requirements to become a Certified Wildlife Habitat through the National Wildlife Federation.

We work hard to strike a balance between managing a working horse farm and caring for the land that supports so much life around us. While horses and pasture use can be demanding on the environment, we believe good stewardship means creating space for both agriculture and wildlife to thrive.

Over the past 8 years, during which we have had the honor of being custodians of this land, we have planted more than 4 acres of native grasses and wildflowers, over 2,000 native seedling trees and shrubs, and created countless habitats for wildlife of all kinds.

Looking ahead, we plan to convert even more fields currently used as fallow pasture into native grasslands and wildflower areas, expand habitat, and continue removing invasive non-native species such as Callery pear and autumn olive.

We are grateful for the opportunity to care for this land and excited for what is still to come.
